Assistant to the Vice President - Pennock Physician Network

Department: Pennock Physician Network
Status: Full-time, 80 hours per pay
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

Requirements: Associates degree in Business or equivalent education and experience. Three to five years administrative experience required. Experience in a healthcare setting highly preferred. Requires typing speed of at least 60 wpm and high proficiency in computer use including word processing and database operations. Must possess ability to meet the public, work cooperatively with Medical Staff, create and maintain positive and professional working relationships.


Responsibilities: The physician network consists of multi-specialty practices and requires the ability to interact efficiently and effectively with hospital executives, directors, physicians, and all other staff. Provides administrative support, prepares correspondence and documents, coordinates meetings, maintains files and records, gathers/researches data, and prepares a variety of reports. Handles and/or assists with administrative matters of a confidential nature, performs special projects, and provides administrative support to other Executives within the network. Reports to the Vice President of the Physician Network.

 

Homecare/Hospice Office Coordinator

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Requirements: High school diploma and at least one year of previous clerical experience are required. Must be highly proficient in computer usage for word processing and database operations along with strong Excel skills. Effective organizational skills, oral and written communication skills, ability to multi-task while meeting deadlines are all essential. Must be able to work cooperatively and professionally with fellow colleagues and the public and maintain a high degree of confidentiality.


Responsibilities: Will perform a variety of clerical duties that require initiative and good judgement for several professional and/or managerial colleagues. Provides other support services such as ordering supplies, maintaining patient records, mailings and acting as a receptionist for the department. Other duties as assigned and reports to the Director of Homecare/Hospice.

 

Office Manager - Orthopedics

Department: Advanced Orthopedic & Pain Institute
Status: Full-time, 80 hours per pay
Schedule: Monday - Friday, first shift

Requirements: Qualified candidates will possess an Associate’s degree with a Bachelor’s degree in health care administration or business preferred; and at least three to five years’ proven experience in management in a physician practice setting. . All applicants must have excellent oral/written communication, critical thinking, problem solving and organizational skills.


Responsibilities: An experienced Office Manager is needed to ensure efficient and effective operations and to guide the practice through approved strategic initiatives. The Office Manager will have day-to-day management responsibilities in a busy practice for HR related items, direct supervision of the reception and scheduling support personnel, managing the office patient schedule, physician call schedule, surgical schedules, patient/employee satisfaction, and budgeting and facilities management/maintenance. Administrative support is available to this position in the areas of finance, human resources, IT, billing, plant operations, and safety/quality. Effective collaboration with these departments is central to this position. Proficiency in EMR and practice management systems is preferred. The ideal person must be mission-oriented, personable, sincere and able to build consensus around common goals. Success in this position depends upon the Office Manager’s ability to create a culture of teamwork and mutual respect with the support of existing site leadership. Reports to the Director of the Advanced Orthopedic & Pain Institute (AOPI).

 

Patient Access Associate

Schedule: Third Shift, Tuesday and Wednesday, every other Friday, weekend is one day every other and 2 holidays per year

Minimum one year of experience in customer service, hospital, medical office is highly desired. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work independently are needed.
