Administrative Assistant

Department: Administration
Status: Full-time, Salaried, 80 hours per pay
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

Requirements: Associates degree in Business or equivalent education and experience. Three to five years administrative experience required. Experience working for a construction firm or in a construction-related environment strongly preferred. Requires typing speed of at least 60 wpm and high proficiency in computer use including word processing and database operations. Must possess ability to create and maintain positive and professional working relationships with multiple stakeholders.


Responsibilities: General administrative and clerical support; prepare and track project budgets and schedules; track project deliverables for project team including proposals, accounts receivable/accounts payable; review, prepare and maintain contract files, transmittals, purchase orders, subcontracts, change orders and certificates of insurance; process requisitions and invoices; analyze data and prepare reports; coordinate and maintain communications between various team members; schedule and coordinate regulatory inspections and project meetings. This position reports to the Vice President of Facilities & Construction Management.

 

Patient Access Associate

Department: Patient Access
Status: Part-time, 32 hours per pay
Schedule: Second Shift, 2:30pm - 11:00pm, every other weekend and 2 holidays per year

Requirements: High school diploma, minimum typing speed of 40 wpm, medical terminology certificate or demonstrated knowledge. Minimum one year of experience in customer service, hospital, medical office is highly desired. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work independently are needed.


Responsibilities: Performs efficient and accurate data entry into the hospital information system during the patient registration process. Participates in performance improvement and CQI activities.

Requirements: High school diploma, minimum typing speed of 40 wpm, medical terminology certificate or demonstrated knowledge. Minimum one year of experience in customer service, hospital, medical office is highly desired. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work independently are needed.

Professional Services Billing Clerk

Department: Patient Financial Services
Status: Full-time, 80 hours per pay
Schedule: Monday - Friday normal business hours

Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of one to two years of third party billing or claims processing preferred. Background in medical terminology, strong knowledge of billing forms, ICD-9, CPT and HCPCS codes. Experience in hospital collections and billing practices strongly preferred.


Responsibilities: Submits insurance claims to various insurance companies and conducts all follow-up on unpaid claims. Posts payments as needed to patient encounters. Must be customer service oriented, highly discrete, able to routinely handle confidential materials, and mange multiple priorities and assignments.

 

Quality Data Clerk

Status: Part-time, 32 hours per pay
Schedule: First shift, no weekends or holidays

Requirements: Two years physician's office experience; must possess knowledge of medical billing; must possess knowledge of performance incentive payment programs.


Responsibilities: Will collect, analyze, sort, and report Quality Incentive Data in payor online systems. Able to provide outstanding customer service with a positive attitude. Significant skill in communicating with and relating to physicians. Detail orientated, effective computer skills especially with word processing and spread sheet programs. Experience in a hospital system or a complex hospital environment.
