Our Pennock Health Speakers' Bureau is a community serviced provided by a variety of health care professionals at Pennock Hospital and within our Pennock Physician Network. Each professional is an expert in their field and can speak on a variety of health topics. We are excited to offer the expertise, knowledge and care that extends beyond the physical walls of Pennock Hospital into our local community.

Each Pennock presentation varies in length, with the average being 45 minutes to 1 hour. The format can be a lecture, question/answer or discussion. We are happy to work with both local groups, non-profit organizations and corporations and we invite you to contact us with your request at

We have a variety of health topics available to include and not be limited to:

  • Hospice-What is hospice and when is the right time to call?
  • Wound Care- How to treat and when to seek help
  • Audiology/Hearing- Too Loud - Learn How Everyday Noise Harms Your Hearing
  • Cancer- New advances, what to expect and cancer specific topics (colon, prostate, breast, etc.)
  • Cardiovascular- Diagnosis/Treatment, heart healthy living and women and heart disease
  • Diabetes- Living well with diabetes and reducing your risk
  • Nutrition- How to eat healthy, weight management, and secrets to living longer and better
  • Surgery- What to expect before and after and specific topics (robotic surgery, hip replacement, lasers, etc.)



Pennock Community and Patient Education

Pennock Community Education offers classes, programs, clinics, screenings, and special events. We want to ensure you lead a full and healthy life!

Classes are offered at various times of the year on topics ranging from family birthing, women's health, child's health, diabetes management, and to healthy aging. Registration is required for most programs. Please feel free to contact us for any questions regarding specific classes, times, and fees (if applicable).




CPR and First Aid Classes

At Pennock Health, we understand the importance of education and training for CPR and First Aid. We offer three class options to assist in CPR Certification, Basic First Aid, and BLS for Healthcare Providers.

Classes are all held at Pennock Hospital (main building) at 1009 W. Green Street, Hastings, MI. Unless otherwise noted via email, all classes will be held in our main conference room located on the first floor. We also offer easy class registrations right online-feel free to sign-up below!

Lunch N' Learn Educational Series

At Pennock Health, we understand information on healthcare is ever changing. We also understand the importance of receiving and understanding vital information direct from physicians is crucial to your overall health and well-being.

With your health in mind, Pennock Health Services will now be offering continual educational Lunch N' Learn series designed to help you and those in our community explore medical information, learn about diagnostic services, and learn how to improve the quality of one's overall health and wellness.
