‘Quiet Time’ Program
‘Quiet Time’ is a break in traditional daytime visiting hours that will provide patients with a set period of time each day for much needed rest and privacy during their stay at Pennock Hospital.
‘Quiet Time’ will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day, 7 days a week. Visitors and hospital personnel are asked to plan visits to the Birthing Center before or after these hours. The only interruptions will be for essential patient care.
“Having this ‘Quiet Time’ period each day will help decrease patient fatigue, increase bonding and allow new mothers to become familiar with baby’s feeding ques,” stated Krissy Hooson, Director of Nursing for Pennock’s Family Birthing Center.
