General patient and visitor Information
Hospital visiting hours

Visiting is permitted at all times, unless contraindicated by the patient’s condition or the patient/physician requests visiting restrictions. Medical Surgery and Pediatrics: 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.. Family Birthing Center: 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.. Intensive Care Unit : Hours are determined on a patient-by-patient basis.

Volunteer Chaplains and the Pennock hospital chapel

Spectrum Health Pennock recognizes the importance of spiritual needs in patient care and family support. We offer a 24-hour a day seven day a week Volunteer Chaplains Program.

If you wish to talk with a chaplain, please let our staff know. Our Chapel is available 24/7 and is located on the first floor, a few doors from the Green Street Cafe. If you would like complete Life Services Guidance and Information, please visit our Life Services page.

Green Street Cafe dining room hours

The Green Street Cafe’ is located on the west side of the hospital on the first floor. Our cafe’ is open seven days a week to visitors and staff. Meals are served at the following times: Breakfast 6:30 am - 10:30 am, Lunch 11:30 am - 1 :30 pm, and Dinner 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm.

*Beverages, snacks and light meal selections are available 24 hours a day/7 days a week in the vending area located on the main floor near the west entrance of the hospital. The vending area also includes a microwave.

State Grounds Coffee Shop

Our on-site coffee shop, State Grounds, is located on the first floor of the main Hospital, near the lobby. Patients and visitors can enjoy speciality coffees and baked goods. For our visitors’ and patients' convenience, you can call in your orders ahead of time and the State Grounds staff will have them waiting for you for pick-up. Direct is 269-948-5714 and from inside the Hospital, dial extension 2189.

The coffee shop is open Monday - Saturday from 6:00am - 7:00 pm and on Sunday from 6:00am - 2:00 pm.

Patient Relations Department
You and your family may direct any feedback (questions, complaints, concerns or compliments) to our patient relations department at 269-945-1760 or send an email to The department is staffed Monday-Friday during normal business hours. If you call after hours or on weekends, leave a message and we will return your call the next business day. For immediate assistance, talk with your nurse or charge nurse, or call the hospital operator and ask for the administrative associate to be paged.
