Digital Mammography and Breast Ultrasounds

At Pennock, comprehensive digital mammography, breast ultrasound, and breast magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) are available for the most efficient detection of abnormalities in the breast. In comparison with the traditional mammography screening, digital mammography has revolutionized clarity and radiologists’ ability to detect cancer.

For women with higher risk factors, a strong family history of breast cancer, or breasts difficult to examine with mammography, breast MRI is available to complement mammograms. If an abnormality is detected, a stereotactic breast biopsy can help women learn more about their health and proceed with a treatment plan if cancer is present.
